SAIT is positioned on the standard territories of the Niitsitapi and the folks of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney. We are located in an space the Blackfoot tribes historically known as Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the City of Calgary, which is also residence to the Métis Nation, Region 3. Located northwest of downtown Calgary, SAIT boasts a wonderful campus, with breathtaking views of the city and the world-famous Rocky Mountains. I’m actually sad that my course is only two years because I may fortunately keep here lots longer than that. There’s lots of help out there to search out your destination and everyone is joyful to help.
